My Mother, the Sea is a short animated film, which explores and symbolically expresses the grieving process for a mother's loss, from her passing until today.

Aspasia Kazeli likes to express herself visually through movement, while exploring motion within stillness. An undercover Greek olive dressed up as an Estonian cabbage, she is an MA Animation graduate from the Estonian Academy of Arts that bounces between animation and illustration, through different aesthetic expressions.
