Set on an island 7 kilometers long, Kihnu Marathon's 42,195 meters twist and turn through every nook and cranny of the place known as Europe's last matriarchy. Japanese marathoner Hiroyuki is here to race for peace, only to find himself hunted by a mysterious creature from the sea. Will he make it back home to his children? What is everyone running from? And why is the creature after him? So someone would milk his cows?
Ivar Murd was born in Kohtla-Järve, Estonia in 1990. He has lived and attended schools in Estonia, Finland, Denmark, and the United States. During high school he was active in youth theater in Tallinn and went on to study film in the US. He has worked in theater, film, and advertising. He currently resides in New York City.
