METERS OF LIFE
SYNOPSIS
Ulkan Mekulovi is seventy years old, lives alone and has been deaf-and-dumb all his life. Every day - irrespective of the weather condition - he walks a few miles to the closest cinema to watch films in a very unique way.
BIOGRAPHY
Momir Matovic was born in 1951 inPodgorica, Republic of Montenegro, Yugoslavia. He graduated at the University of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade - Department of film. Matovic's documentaries have been shown and awarded in different international film festivals. He received the prize Certificate of Merit at the San Francisco International Film Festival (1997) for the documentary "String of Life".
