Com o aproximar da segunda edição do BEAST IFF é tempo de decidires como queres participar no festival! Ser voluntário significa fazer parte de uma equipa internacional, conhecer muitas pessoas que pensam como tu, partilhar o que sabes e aprender com os outros. Algumas amizade e memórias vão durar para sempre! Nós precisamos de ti para fazermos um festival maior e melhor para todos.

Tendo em conta os teus horários, podes escolher como queres participar no festival. São todos bem-vindos! Dá uma vista de olhos nas diferentes secções  de voluntariado em que te podes inscrever, escolhe as que são mais interessantes para ti. Podes selecionar até 3 departamentos, mas ficarás apenas num.

Gestão de Convidados – Conhecer os convidados do festival e ajudá-los a ter uma boa experiência no festival: ir buscá-los ao aeroporto, ter a certeza que recebem os cupões de refeição, alojamento, guiá-los pelo programa do festival, etc.

Gestão de Eventos – Ajudar na organização e preparação dos eventos especiais como Masterclasses, Exposições, Q&As, festas. Lembra-te que as festas requerem que fiques conosco até mais tarde.

Workshops – Vais ter de ajudar os coordenadores e participantes. Experiência com animação/cinema é bem vinda, mas não obrigatória.

Coordenação geral – Ajuda-nos com o que acontece no centro do festival, distribuir acreditações pelos convidados, dar informações. É essencialmente trabalho de escritório, boa organização é um plus.

Info Points – Vais ser o ponto de informação durante o festival, distribuir flyers e programas a quem pasa.

Marketing e comunicação – Ajuda com vídeo/conteúdo, edição, fotografia, merchandise, comunicados de imprensa.

Redes Sociais – Vais ser responsável por fazer posts nas redes em tempo real. Vais ter de saber o que se passa um pouco por todo o lado, nos eventos, horários e possíveis alterações. Ter energia, ser sociável e escrever bem, saber Inglês e Português seria muito bom.

A equipa do “Making-off” – Responsável por filmar o que se passa pelo festival, videos oficias e o depois do festival.

Bilheteira – Vais trabalhar diretamente com o público do festival: ver os bilhetes para as sessões e prestar atenção às acreditações.

Tech geek – Dar apoio técnico às localizações do festival. Vais ajudar com as projeções, som e luz.

Traduções – Traduzir textos Inglês/Português para a comunicação do online e offline do festival.

As the second edition of BEAST IFF comes closer and closer, it is time for you to choose how you want to participate in the festival! Being a volunteer means being part of an international team, meeting a lot of like-minded people, sharing your own skills and learning in return. Some of the friendships and the good memories last for a lifetime! We need you, so we can build a bigger and better festival for everyone.

Taking into consideration your schedule, you can choose exactly how involved you want to be at the festival. Everyone is welcomed! Take a look at the various sections of Volunteering that you can sign up for and choose the ones that fit you best. You can choose up to 3 departments and you will be assigned just one.

Guest Management – Meeting the Festival Guests and helping them have a good experience at the Festival: pick-ups, drop-offs, making sure they get their meal tickets, accommodation, festival guides, etc.

Workshops – You will have to assist the trainers and the participants. Past experience with animation/ filmmaking is highly appreciated, but not mandatory.

Events Management – Helping with the setup and maintenance of Festival extra events, like Masterclasses, Exhibitions, Q&As, parties. Please note that parties require staying out late.

General coordination – Assist the team with daily operations, giving accreditations to the festival guests and give information when required. It implies office work and good organizational skills are a plus.

Info Points – You will provide general information about the festival, flyers and festival programmes to people passing by during the whole period of the festival.

Marketing & Press communication – Help with video/content editing, photography, merchandise, press communication, press materials.

Social media – You will be responsible for posting on social media channels, in real time. You will have to be always on the move, always informed about the festival events, schedules and possible changes. A witty, people friendly person with good grammar,  English and Portuguese skills would be highly appreciated.

The “Making-of” team  – Responsible with making a BTS video, Official festival videos, Official Festival Aftermovie.

Ticketing – You’ll work directly with the public of the festival: checking the tickets for the screenings and keeping track of the accreditations.

Tech geek – Technical support at the venues of the festival. You’ll help with the projection, sound and lighting.  

Translations – Translating texts English/Portuguese for festival communication online and offline.
