SYNOPSIS
SINOPSE
In a not-too-distant future ravaged by climate crisis, a team of scientists analyse the archival footage of farmers from the past, in an attempt to understand their connection to the land.

BIOGRAFIA
Gregor Božič is a Slovenian director, screenwriter, and cinematographer. He studied in Ljubljana and at DFFB in Berlin, and completed a postgraduate programme at Le Fresnoy in France. His debut feature Stories from the Chestnut Woods premiered at TIFF in 2019, while his short Common Pear (2025) premiered at IFFR and received awards at Oberhausen (FIPRESCI Prize, EFA nomination) and Beldocs. As a cinematographer, he has worked with leading regional directors, including Nebojša Sljepčević, Matjaž Ivanišin, and Igor Bezinović, with films presented at major festivals such as Cannes, Toronto, Locarno, and Rotterdam. Alongside filmmaking, he researches traditional fruit varieties and has developed a gene-bank orchard in the Italo-Slovene border region.
