SYNOPSIS
SINOPSE
The elevator of the nursing home turns into a stage as the old dancer explores the limits of his body, memory, and passing of time. Trapped inside the four walls, he must face the helplessness of his own languishing shell. Starring Jan Minařík, the soloist of Pina Bausch theatre and the greatest Czech 20th century dancer.

BIOGRAFIA
Marie-Magdalena Kochová (1994) is a Czech director based in Prague. She graduated from New Media in Pilsen and Documentary Film at FAMU in Prague. She directed several short films that were screened at many international festivals. Her short hybrid film Shells (2022) premiered at Karlovy Vary International Film Festival and was selected to The Hottest Shorts of Hot Docs 2023.
