SYNOPSIS
SINOPSE
Inspired by the work of Jonas Mekas (a seminal figure of the U.S. underground cinema) author Vukica Đilas has been passionately recording her everyday life for more than twenty years with an 8mm camera. Beside personal and intimate frames shot in a diary manner, she recorded many public figures and cultural happenings during three decades. This monumental work came to light only after Đilas’s premature death in 2001, thanks to her ex-husband Branko Vučićević and her friend Slobodan Šijan (both renowned Yugoslav cineastes).
