ANIMATION WORKSHOP 4 KIDS

Digital or manual? Group or individual? Theoretical or practical? The answer is: all of them!

As part of the Visegrad Film Hub programme, and in partnership with Primanima festival, BEAST presents an animation workshop that brings together opposing pairs of concepts to present a wide perspective on the wonderful world of cut-out animation.
In the process the kids will learn the basics of cut-out character design, storytelling, motion dynamics, working with sound to expand their knowledge on visual storytelling in a fun and joyful way. In the workshop, we want to encourage them to work on a short story from their own lives using animation techniques. Since working on moving images and storyline is not a lonely and individual task, it is also a good occasion for children to work in groups, and to find the part that best suits their own personality and intentions.
