Beast International Film Festival 25 — 29.09.2024

FOCUS COUNTRY – SLOVENIA

BEAST PRESENTS THIS YEAR’S FOCUS COUNTRY - SLOVENIA!

Every year the festival dedicates part of its program to the film scene of a country, in its FOCUS COUNTRY section.
This year, the country in focus is Slovenia, with a vast and diverse programming proposal, created with the support of the Slovenian Film Center and the Slovenian Cinematheque.

Throughout this programme, we will showcase a diverse array of screenings of feature and short films, with film school visits, two retrospectives, and a highlight of Slovenian cinema within our recurring Queer Focus programme.

FOCUS SLOVENIA features a range of unique activities that celebrate the contemporary cinematographic culture of Slovenia and ensure a valuable contribution to the region.

Today the festival shares the first titles for this new edition, giving a glimpse of the Focus Slovenia programme: Opening Films, Queer Focus film, and two School Visit programmes.
