SYNOPSIS
SINOPSE
Stop-motion animation on the arranging of marriages in 1950/60s set in the Eastern-Polish borderland. The script is based on a part of diary by the director’s grandfather. The biographical objects used in the animation, such as an authentic headscarf, books, the copy of diary and photographs help situate the story in its original environment and express the atmosphere of the times.

Ewa Smyk is a multi-awarded animation director and art director. She graduated from MA Communication Design at Central Saint Martins (2015) and MA Directing Animation at the National Film and Television School (2020).
