9.0 | COMING SOON
BEAST International Film Festival returns for its 9th edition, unspooling between June 3-7. This year’s programme is inspired by the theme HOME: a concept which, in all its richness and diversity, runs through the festival’s curatorial sections. As always, BEAST features in its selection the Official Competition (East Wave, East Doc, experimentalEAST, Anima East), as well as special themed screenings and various collaborations with film schools. Film screenings and parallel events (talks, exhibitions, among others) will once again provide a platform for voices from Central and Eastern Europe to share their stories with the public in Porto.
In the next few weeks the festival will announce its 2026 programme.
Until then, and to get a glimpse of the energy that can be expected for this summer, check out our 2025 capsule edition AFTER MOVIE.
