FESTIVAL VISIT
ZUBROFFKA FILM FESTIVAL
This year’s Festival Visit section is dedicated to a collaboration with ZUBROFFKA. This section includes two screenings: Eastward Window and FILM PODLASIE ATTACK PORTO – special brunch film mix.
ZUBROFFKA International Short Film Festival for several years has been building a cultural bridge between East and West, North and South, thanks to which creative energy from all over the world meets in Bialystok and the Podlasie region. The festival is open and borderless, respects diversity, is a meeting place for open creators, with a sense of humor and those who value nature and its creations.
Organizer: Bialostocki Osrodek Kultury – dkf GaG
Eastward Window
It is one of the most important competitions at the International Short Film Festival ZUBROFFKA in Bialystok, Podlasie/Poland. It shows the best independent films from former block of socialist countries, such as Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Czech, Slovakia, Poland etc. It showcases films from amateur, professionals, student, and independent filmmakers. Thanks to this we can observe cinematographies in these countries for more than 20 years and highlights cultural and artistic connections between East and West, featuring narratives from post-socialist countries. The category offers a 1st Prize of 3,000 PLN to the winner and is highly regarded for bringing attention to regional filmmakers.

Filmowe Podlasie Atakuje * BRUNCH
Our region, Podlasie/Poland, inspires filmmakers. We would like to invite you for a short film feast with tastes of Podlasie in it. We will present films of authors connected with the action “Film Podlasie in Attack!” that is a positive promotion of the Northern-East region of Poland.
It’s a place where many cultures and religions coexist, but Podlasie is not only provincial borderland, nature, forests and bisons. We have many creative and imaginative people who make films and take inspiration from the region. FPA! is a mixture of humour, pure, spontaneous energy and force. As usual in the Podlasie region, what’s good for the soul and mind will come with something even better for the body! Together with special selected shorts we prepared some local goodies to eat and drink so you will check Podlasie out from all its tasty sides.
